Looking for a method to enhance your home decor with the altering seasons? The easy DIY burlap flower wreath is so enjoyable to make, and it can be modified with accents for any break or season: fall, Christmas, spring, and more. Burlap garlands are some of the very preferred craft projects to make.

And when decorated with attractive wood flowers and bright ribbon, this wreath actually is a showstopper. It is ideal to find a reliable fabric supplier for buying burlap ribbons, deco mesh, tulle fabric, organza fabric, chair cover, tablecloth, and many others. Below, I’m going to share a step-by-step guide to making an outstanding DIY burlap flower wreath.

Supplies That You Will Need:

  • Metal wreath form
  • Burlap ribbon (quantity required will vary depending upon the size of the wreath, and an 8-inch wreath required approximately 30 yards)
  • Floral accents
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon
  • Hot glue

Step 1:

Start by folding the burlap ribbon down and over to make the 3-4-inch loop. You should work from the back of the wreath to the front, and then press the coil up and through the inner ring of the wreath form. After that, secure the ends with a segment of floral wire or a spiral tie.

Step 2:

Again, fold the ribbon for making another loop and push the loop through the middle ring of the form, unswervingly subsequent to the first loop. Make another loop in the same direction in the outer ring of the wreath form. Now, you will have a single complete burlap row.

Step 3:

After completing the first row, flip the wreath over and screw the end of the burlap 3-4 times to secure.

Step 4:

When ended, trim any extra burlap with scissors leaving a 3-inch end, and secure the end of the burlap to the garland with flowery wire/a twist tie. Note: If making a wreath with dissimilar burlap colors, just trim and secure the end of the first burlap color to the wreath form beforehand securing the subsequent color to the wreath and enduring the looping/twisting procedure.

Step 5:

Now, use scissors for trimming away the stalk on the floral accents. Attach them along the left-hand side of the wreath using hot glue.

Step 6:

Make a bow using ribbon and floral wire and attach it above the flowers with hot glue.

Step 7:

In this step, start to add a spray of the dried flower above the bow with hot glue. Then, you can arrange the rest of the wreath, inserting it into the creases of the burlap and securing it with hot glue as you work.

By following the above-mentioned steps, you can make a pretty DIY beautiful burlap wreath that can be displayed throughout the fall season, Christmas, and other decors. You can find one of the best wedding and craft product suppliers for buying different types of burlap ribbons, tulle fabrics, organza fabrics, mesh ribbons, chair covers, table runners, satin ribbons, and many others at discounted prices.
